MOPA laser marking machine is a marking device that uses MOPA (adjustable pulse width) fiber laser. It has good pulse shape control ability. Compared with Q-switched fiber laser, MOPA fiber laser pulse frequency and pulse width are independently controllable. Through the adjustment of two laser parameters, it can achieve constant high peak power output and can be applied to a wider range of materials.
The pulse width of MOPA laser marking machine M1 is 4-200ns, and the pulse width of M6 is 2-200ns. The pulse width of ordinary fiber laser marking machine is 118-126ns. It can be seen that the pulse width of MOPA laser marking machine can be adjusted in a wider range. Therefore, it is understandable why some products cannot be marked by ordinary fiber laser marking machine, but can be achieved by using MOPA laser marking machine.
MOPA laser marking machine is suitable for fine marking process of metal and non-metal materials, such as laser blackening of digital product parts, mobile phone buttons, transparent buttons, mobile phone shells, button panels, electronic components, oxidation, plastic marking, handicraft gifts, oxidation treatment and coating electroplating spraying and other surface treatments.
MOPA laser marking machines are mainly used in stainless steel color marking, aluminum oxide blackening, anode stripping, coating stripping, semiconductor and electronics industries, plastic and other sensitive material marking, and PVC plastic pipe industry.
However, many customers expect the processing speed of MOPA laser marking machines to be the same as that of ordinary fiber laser marking machines when purchasing them, but this is obviously counterproductive. The two technologies are different. When engraving color effects, the machine needs to mark at high frequencies with minimal shadow effects, which makes the engraving resolution high, but at the same time the engraving speed is relatively slow.
Also for deep engraving , JPT Mopa series also has big advantage , with adjustable pluse width and frequency , make sure the deeper engraving much faster
