1. Principle of YAG jewelry laser welding
The work of laser welding machine is realized by applying high-energy pulse laser. The pulse xenon lamp is used as the pump source. The laser power supply first lights the pulse xenon lamp, and then discharges the xenon lamp pulse through the laser power supply to form a light wave with a certain frequency and pulse width. The light wave is irradiated onto the Nd:YAG laser crystal through the laser focusing cavity, so that the crystal is stimulated to radiate, and then after the laser resonant cavity resonates, a pulse laser with a wavelength of 1064nm is emitted. The pulse laser is focused on the object to be welded after beam expansion, reflection, (or transmission through optical fiber). Under the control of PLC or industrial PC, the CNC workbench is moved to complete the welding.


2. Characteristics of YAG jewelry laser welding
1) The weld is flat and beautiful, no treatment is required after welding or only a simple treatment process is required;
2) The weld quality is high, without pores, which can reduce and optimize the impurities of the parent material, and the organization can be refined after organization. The strength and toughness of the weld are at least equivalent to or even exceed the parent metal;
3) Precise control, small focusing spot, high-precision positioning, and easy automation. It can realize welding between certain dissimilar materials.
